The registration process is open to all teams that meet the eligibility criteria set forth by the NBA 2K League. Seeding for the tournament will be randomly generated through a drawing. It is crucial for teams to stick with the roster and team branding they registered with to maintain fairness and consistency throughout the tournament.
Draft Eligibility
For those aspiring to join the NBA 2K League, this tournament is a golden opportunity. Here are the key criteria for draft-eligible players:
Amateur Draft Eligible players must be 18 years old by or before January 1, 2024.
Players who participated in the 2023 Season 2KL are not eligible since they are already in the draft pool. Location and Format
The Mavs Gaming Proving Ground and Texas Ticket 2024 will be conducted entirely online. The tournament structure is as follows:
Game Mode/Settings: PS5 and Xbox Series X, 3v3 Pro-Am Mode, 5v5 Pro-Am Mode, Private Matchmaking.
The tournament will feature a single bracket.
All rounds will follow a Best-of-3 (BO3) or Best-of-5 (BO5) format.
Proving Ground will kick off on September 23rd and run through September 27th.
Texas Ticket will begin on September 29th and continue until October 10th.
Teams will have 24 hours to complete each round, including the Elite 8 and Final Four games.
MavsGG reserves the right to grant extensions if the tournament timeline allows it.
The Semifinal and Championship matchups will be broadcasted on the MavsGG Twitch channel, which you can watch live at https://twitch.tv/MavsGG.
Pro-Am courts must prominently feature the Mavs Gaming Logo. For assistance with court design, please contact the admin on Discord.
